Jesus is the Way Prison Ministry was founded in 1977 by Jesse and Edith Mathes.  Our mission is to reach the lost souls in prison, and that's what God is sending us to do!  As we reach out to inmates along with our volunteer chaplain teams, we see first hand how the gospel of Jesus Christ changes men's hearts.

We are located in Rantoul, Illinois, a small community halfway between Chicago and St. Louis.
